GoDaddy sends out its first big email blast about new TLDs

Registrar invites customers to follow their favorite top level domains. GoDaddy has featured new top level domain names on its website for a while now. But it appears the company just sent out its first big email promotion to inform its customer base about the coming avalanche of top level domain options. The email (pictured) invites customers to follow top level domain names that interest them. GoDaddy will later allow customers to pre-register domain names, and it’s likely that GoDaddy will let customers know when pre-registration begins for domains they have followed. The email is very similar to the marketing copy on GoDaddy’s new TLD information page . GoDaddy has allowed customers to follow particular TLDs since July. I have not personally received the promotion yet, but many people I follow on Twitter have. (Thanks @snickn for the graphic)
