Breaking: Pigeon Sh*t to Step Aside. Being Replaced by New.Dung?

I don’t like what I see happening with the gTLDs and here’s why…I have already pre-registered a couple of hundred one word product and service related .web domains. In addition I was planning on spending a few thousand on other gTLDs, namely Donut’s domains (I’ve already spent several hundred pre-registering them). I liked the fact that Donut’s has attracted a lot of venture capital. I assumed they must have a great business plan, right? Now I’m not so sure. Rick’s poll was criticized by those who should support it, unless the assumptions in the business plans turn out to be false. I’ve yet to see any proof, any reliable data that shows that end users will use the gTLDs as a platform to build a business upon within the first three years.
