Nicole Richie filed a complaint with the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center on March 14,2012,asserting legal rights over the domain names.The famous actress owns many trademark registrations for the "Nicolet Richie" mark.Therefore,she proved that the domain names are confusingly similar to her trademark. Moreover,she contended and managed to demonstrate that the respondent registered and used the disputed domain names in bad faith : "Respondent attempted to attract, for commercial gain, Internet users to Respondent’s websites by creating a likelihood of confusion with Complainant’s trademark.
