As a Security Data Analyst, you will make an impact by directly reducing the amount of spam, malware, and other malicious content on the internet, resulting in fewer cases of cybercrime. You will also directly help the company with up-keeping our reputation in the industry. The everyday challenge for a Security Data Analyst at Afilias is a cunning, multi-faceted adversary, who is watching, adapting, and responding to the analysts’ efforts. Your job will consist of actively analyzing external and internal data sources for patterns and inconsistencies, in order to identify trends and relationships of data related to spam, phishing, WHOIS records, or IP addresses. In addition, you will contribute to our internal business intelligence, security audits and risk analysis, and recommend best practices for protection against domain name abuse.
