Someone is sending emails to domain name owners telling them it’s their lucky day–they can acquire the domain name Luck.com for only $45,000. According to the sender, he knows the domain is worth a lot more but he needs the funds fast. He posted a similar message on NamePros under a different name than he is emailing from. Don’t fall for this too-good-to-be-true offer on a domain that sold for $675,000 in 2009. It’s important to be especially careful when someone sends an unsolicited email to you offering a domain name for sale. Do your due diligence.
