We've launched a consultation on a new Registrar Agreement to work with registrars to raise standards of service:

We have launched a consultation on a new Registrar Agreement that will allow us to work with registrars to raise standards of service and data quality. The revised agreement outlines raised baseline standards, while offering a framework that recognises the diversity of registrar business models. The proposed agreement forms part of the programme for keeping our business and the .uk namespace relevant, competitive and trusted. A press release provides further information about the consultation , which launches today runs until 12 September 2013. Responses to the consultation will be published in November once we have been able to consider all the feedback.
