NameJet deadbeats: Popular .org still unpaid for Posted by DomainGang on January 26, 2014, at 5:51 pm The auction for the aged, premium domain Popular.org , ended 26 days ago at NameJet; buyers have a maximum of 14 days to come up with the funds for the domain that they win. Some domainers have money to burn, others don’t pay. Inviting 113 bids from 101 bidders isn’t a small feat, and the winner – deepak786 – came in at $898 and bid it up all the way to the top, outbidding several bidders. Popular.org ended up at $2,700 dollars but it seems that deepak786 never paid for his winning bid, as the domain WHOIS shows there has been no change in ownership. Let’s hope that NameJet will ban this deadbeat deepak786 and will further tighten the requirements for bidding on domain names. This post is 100% true!
