Afilias joins Internet Technical Leaders in Welcoming IANA Globalization progress Afilias today announced its support for the statements by the Internet technical organizations responsible for coordination of the Internet infrastructure (IETF, IAB, ccTLD ROs, ICANN, ISOC and W3C) regarding the announcement by the US Government of the suggested changes related to the IANA functions contract. As a TLD Registry Operator and a leading registry technology services provider, Afilias has participated in the ICANN community since its inception and has helped to shape and implement Internet policies and practices in a secure and reliable manner consistent with evolving technical standards.
