The DomainMadness auction, which was supposed to start today at 2pm Pacific, has been indefinitely postponed. As of 3pm Pacific, DNN spoke with owner Mike Fiol who told us they were experiencing “technical difficulties” . Fiol told us “We did things too well. We just moved servers to a cloud based solution to handle 1000 simultaneous requests and we’re receiving 1500 requests”. From DNN’s view we couldn’t access the site at all from the start of the schedule event up until this post. The Boxcar.com team was working to fix the problem but there was no information available on wether the auction would be continued at a later time or not . Approximately 20-30 people logged in to the live chat at Livestream.com to watch the broadcast .
