GigaOm Rescued by an Austin Startup - #austin #startups @gigaom

I have been a huge fan of GigaOm for as long as I can remember reading blogs on a daily basis. What I always loved about GigaOm is the quality of the articles and the depth that the writers would provide. A lot of this had to do with the incredible team of writers that contributed to GigaOm which is also why I was so sad when earlier this year they announced they were shutting down . Well I am very, very happy to say that GigaOm lives on thanks to Austin startup Knowingly , an Austin startup founded by serial entrepreneur Byron Reese . Knowingly is an Austin-based Internet publishing startup that owns a number of other properties including Correctica.com and iForetold. Congrats to Knowlingly and GigaOm, this is without a doubt a win-win and I can’t tell you how excited I am to watch GigaOm get back in action and become one of my favorite go-to blogs once again!
