Why Should You Use an ICANN Accredited Registrar? #domaining

This may not be something that you've thought about before, but is the domain name registrar you use ICANN accredited? Naturally, the majority of registrars around the World are accredited, but there are instances of registrars that do not comply with ICANN. If you have domain names with these registrars, your names may not be safe. I've been researching this topic for quite a while, and I think that it's important to share this information around. I believe that ICANN accreditation is a must for any domain registrar, and it should be a factor in which registrar you choose. Firstly, for those who are unaware, ICANN is the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers.
