How Apple gave up on web apps – to make more money with iCloud

Of course Apple tries to do what it does better as Google tries to do was it does better. What Apple knows is that is not the web itself what is important, but the connection between apps. Cocoa(I’m experienced with Qt, Gtk, cocoa, .NET and Lamp) draws circles around web technologies for desktop. If you want to replicate the desktop, like we are starting to do with canvas, you need to replicate the complexity, and cocoa is a really really god design for that(gtk, qt and Microsoft copied it, give credit when credit is due). You don’t need web technologies on google earth, you need a technology that connects apps. I do not like to have to use a browser for everything I do, why everything I send has to be XMLesque?, not being able to send binary and words fast!!, that is 32, 64bits numbers because the companies can’t agree on a single standard.
